# Exercise # motivation

Benefits of Evening workouts.

Morning sweets,
I just want to share something real fast here....Have you ever tried working out in the evenings as much as or almost as you did in the morning? Ok, I have and I totally love it. Whenever I want to break a plateau or if I feel I ate too much during the day or the day before, I do some 30 mins in the evenings, then have a small meal afterwards, this is in addition to my usual morning workouts. Some people even argue its the best time of the day to exercise, well i don't think so, but it sure helps one to lose weight much faster.


  • I think this will really help during the coming festive period, when there will loads of eating and drinking and you know your morning workout wont just cut it.
  • Its also good for busy people that leave the house really early to work and don't get home till evening. 
  • Its good for people who hardly eat breakfast and don't have much energy in the mornings, though feel really good towards evening. Use this time wisely.
  • Its good for a challenge, if you want to challenge yourself and burn extra calories and even lose weight faster, this will help you. #FNB contestants, take not oooo!!! Lol!

It doesn't have to be a tough routine, it could be 30 mins brisk walk around your estate or street, 30 mins on the treadmill etc. Just to make sure you get something done. 

PS: Just make sure you are eating well while burning extra calories, so that you don't fall ill or deprive your body. Nutrition is key!

  1. I even work out best in d evenings... I'm not really a morning person.. It also helps me curb my appetite cos when I get bk, I'm already loaded with all the bottles of water I drank at d gym and on my way home. Morning feels like a struggle sometimes for me.. Loool... Yaaaay me then I guess.. :D.. Amanda

    1. Really? I am more of a morning person. Some evenings, when i feel good and i have some time to myself, i use it. I do mostly 30mins strength training in the evening, so that i can keep burning while asleep. Lol. Keep it up dear.

  2. I prefer morning workout cos am full of energy, bt due 2 work, am limited 2 just evenings which is after suffering @ d office n lagos traffic, it's productivity low.#sadFace

  3. I wake by 4am to do my workouts because I know once am back home by evening I am tired so no strength. If I ever
    workout in the evening I find it difficult to sleep. Chidiebere
