#Workit Weightloss challenge Day 50 (week 8 (finals) begins)

Yes! We made it (permit me to say that today) I'm sure some of us didn't think it was possible, but we made it. To God be the Glory. One more week to go!!! Amanda, Flora, Louisa, MissB, Tess, Pat, Sweetpie, Nena, Wunmi You did it ladies!!! Aren't you proud you did this?



Losing weight is one of the toughest things i have ever done in my life, yes its even harder than pushing out a baby, but guess what? I have never regretted it. It has made me a better person in many ways, I cant even begin to count. It has turned my life around 360 degrees. For me, its not just about losing weight anymore, its about being a better person inside and letting it shine through. I give God all the glory. I really want you all to feel what I feel. I know you can do it, you have come this far. WELL DONE!!!

REMEMBER:

  • Be ready for the future. Make plans.
  • Surround yourself with positive minded people.
  • Don't bother much about what people think. Its your life and your body, don't them kill your dreams.
  • How you treat food really matters. In weight loss, you cant eat your cake and have it.
  • Learn from your mistakes.
  • Pray, Pray Pray. Ask the Lord for strength to keep going.




Lets finish BIG, lets finish STRONG!! This week's tips:

  1. Lets end the challenge with a DETOX!!! I suggest we all do this. Even if you did last week, lets try it again biko. If you really cant do the detox, just try and eat very clean meals all through.
  2. 1400 squats! Lets go big! Who has been squatting? Have you noticed any difference? Well i have, nice and perky is all I can say *winks*
  3. Please change up your workouts for maximum results. Don't over work yourself though, give at least a day of rest during the week so that your body can recover. This is very important. I usually rest for at least 2 days a week.
  4. Don't forget your water. At least 8 cups or 3 liters per day.
  5. Try not to cheat this weekend, but if you do cheat, try and burn it off. 
  6. Contestants, please send in your weigh-in pics as usual but this time with the newspaper strip showing the date. Any one without a newspaper strip will be rejected i ooo...
  7. Have you organised your post challenge routine? Please start doing so now, this is very necessary.
  8. Contestants, please remember that the final pics should be taken with the same outfit and manner which you did in week 1.

    1. Sorry for the late response dearie. What i meant there is that you need a plan (exercise routine, meals, etc) to continue with till you reach your goal and then start maintaining. The journey doesn't end here. Its one thing to lose weight, and another to maintain it. Cheers.

  5. Hi ladies in the house, Congratulations to all of us. You see, losing a kg in 1 month is a big feat especially for food lovers like me.lol. It takes discipline and self restraint to say NO to very appetising delicacies. Let's keep this up no matter how difficult and impossible it may seem. A big thanks to Cheliz for her large heart and providing this platform for us. We are now one BIG family . We may not be there yet but we are on the right track. Kudos to all. Louisa
