# #WORKIT CHALLENGE # Weightloss challenge

Results after week 3 of the #workit Challenge.

Good Morning Sweets!!!
Last week was obviously another tough week for the contestants, some had their TOM and didn't lose as much as they expected. Personally, i add up to 2kg or more at that time. I already know, so i don't get moved when it happens. I found a way around it though. Its not difficult, you can try it. Before (a week or less) that time of the month, i start a detox immediately, this will help eliminate water and bloating and it will in turn curb my cravings which tends to heighten at that time. So nothing nothing for the visitor, i come fully prepared Lol! I have tried this and it works for me, i don't add that much anymore except i decide to ignore it and go with the flow (You get?) Lol!

Guys, please don't get discouraged, you are still learning about how your body works, so this is expected. Keep pushing and keep eating right, increase the pace when you can, you are doing great. Don't let depression kick in oooo, if you allow it, you will lose all the hard work of over 3 weeks. I don't think you want that. Once you start eating like you used to, it WILL be very difficult to reverse. Remember i warned you. I have been there, it takes the grace of God to reverse and get back on track.

The results so far. As usual, if your picture is not here, you know na.......The number keeps reducing weekly, hehehehehe!

Flora: from 98.2kg.

Louisa: From 91.9kg

Wunmi: from 69.2kg

Tess: From 81.8kg

Pat: from 89.3kg (196.5lbs)

Sweetpie: From 74.5kg

Ecclesiastes 9:11 “The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."

  • Remember that this week is a detox week, so delete eba and rice from your memory.
  • Drink as much water as you can. 10 cups a day or more.
  • Exercise for at least 30mins daily or 3 times a week.
  • Go to sleep early so you can get enough rest. Lack of sleep hinders weight loss.
  • Cheat less. Hehehe!

Do this for you and for those that love you who want you to be better, healthier and stronger. Focus on your goal and stay determined.  All the best, the Lord is your strength my sweets. God bless ya!!
Cheliz.

  3. Hmmmm I'm so excited about how everyone is doing. Earlier today my kid sis sent me a pic of what she was having for breakfast... Large plate of rice, fried egg, sauce and plantain.. I screamed and said I can't even remember d last time I ate like ds. If u were to be last month, my reply wud be "chai ure enjoying oh " and I cud even quickly rush to go and prepare d same... Bcos of long throat. Loool. I thank God really. Eating so much feels so strange to do now. The height of last week for me was when I went to my tailor to pick up my clothes I gave him to make since last month. On testing them, he had to slimfit all of them!!! I was like... Are my eyes deceiving me or this man didn't measure me well before. Then he said Nne I was going to tell u...u lost small weight in my eyes oh... U need to see my joy... I was sooooo happy.. Loool... I can't wait to be in sweetpie's shoes when people wud start screaming when they see me. My TOM is close-by.. Hmmm... God dey. Thanks alot Cheliz... For making us undergo this amazing change. God bless u. Amanda

  5. My TOM dealt with mentally and physically, after week one weigh and during week 2. It's only week 3 and now that I am regrouping and getting back on track. After week one weigh in, when I only lost 1 pound, I was so discouraged, and then my period started that night. On one hand I was like perhaps this explains the only one pound, so stay ontrack. On the other hand, the cravings and cramps told me to just eat and lie down. I ate everything I have not eaten in the past 2 months. Cupcake, pizza, white rice, malt, ice cream, chips, dodo, and the list goes on. Then I did not exercise at all. When Friday weigh in came around, I was like just quit the challenge and live your life, at least you've already lost weight and all your clothes fit again, accept yourself as you are. But thank God for his strength, the comments on this blog, esp Ms. Cheliz and Miss. B, who are always encouraging. For week 2 when every body was losing, I gained 4 lbs, but I used the pics as encouragement that I can do it again. After Ms. Cheliz reached out to me, I confessed and gave no excuses, and once again she encouraged me. So I'm back!!! I'm accepting prayers from everyone, because I need to win again:) Good luck and God's strength to all of us.

  6. Hi Cheliz,i guess I'm still the laziest of all on this blog,im as inconsistent as some atm machines. Hw does a student like me get an adequate detox. 1. Hahahaha! Dont even compare yourself to an atm, one almost gulped my card last week. Lol. Do u apply body lotion before workout, or maybe the night before? It may be that you react to sweat mkxing with ur body lotion. If that is d case, I would say you should bathe before a workout. If not keep working out even if ur skin gets rough, it might be that u r habouring loads of toxins under ur skin. You need to sweat for days so as to allow ur true glow return. Also talk to a dermatologist ok. Workout makes us sweat, and sweating makes the skin glow. All the best.
