# challenge # Lose weight now

#Workit Weight loss challenge 2014!!!

Hi Sweets, hope you all are having a fab holiday.. I am, i rested...a bit. Lol! So its about 2 days till we begin our weight loss challenge. I trust that anyone who truly wants to lose weight has prepared for this. No excuse guys, this time we must see changes.


There will be a cash prize this time. A large chunk of it is courtesy of a very good friend of mine, she wants to stay anonymous, she offered to do this on her own, such a darling. I pray that God will reward her for this. God bless you dear.

The Prizes:
  1. N15,000 cash prize. If you stay overseas, and you win, please provide a Nigerian account for transfer. 
  2. A branded product.
  3. As time goes on, i will add other stuff to this as the spirit leads me. Lol. 

The rules to enter:

  1. This time around, the winner takes it all. If there is a tie, the prize will be split 2 ways. 
  2. This challenge will run for 8 weeks. Starting on the 1st of August and ending on the 27th of September 2014.
  3. Must Like our page here on Facebook
  4. You must use a digital scale to weight yourself and take pics. No analogs please. 
    Digital scale. Easy to read.

  5. You must send in your current pics, front and side view showing you holding up the sign just like last month. This time its called the #WORKIT challenge. Please send to my email: chelizruby@gmail.com

  6. Deadline for sending pics is 9pm GMT on Friday 1st of August 2014.
  7. You must also send in your scale pic showing your current weight with the sign #WORKIT challenge on it.
  8. You must send in your weigh-in every weekend of the challenge. If you miss a weigh-in, you will be disqualified.
  9. The final weigh-in will determine the winner. If you don't send in your weigh-in that day 27th Sept by 9pm GMT then i guess OYO is your case.
So my sweets, this is the time to prove them wrong, show them you can do this, lose weight, feel good, discover yourself and be the real you. Like i told a friend today, "fat hides potentials" and she replied, "it also hides ones destiny" Gbam!!!

  5. I guess this means we are using the Facebook and not your blog for sending d pics and weekly weigh-ins right? If that's the case, Pls make it a secret group so that our posts and pics are private and protected from our the public. Is it possible?

  6. Hmmm I've been jogging every morning for a week now... I'm ready oh Miss B. Just about to register in a gym.. God help us ds time around. That's how I bought digital scale as suggested.. I saw me weighing 78.8 meanwhile my manual scale was dancing between 75 and 76. I just tire. God dey sha.. He'd help us. Tnks Cheliz.. Amanda

    1. Hey Amanda. I see youve been doing a great job. Hmm, this competition look tight o. My dear, i prefer a digital scale because you get to see what you actually lose down to the grams. But with Analog scale, you just assume what you see. Its harder to read. Also with the analog scale, you always have adjust the marker to zero, if not you get a wrong reading. Maybe that's what happened to you. All the best in the challenge.

  10. Am 24 years old, with big boobs and I weight 78 to 80kg that's how it fluctuates. I would love to lose like 5kg at least weigh 72 to 74 but my huge boobs always makes it difficult to exercise. Before you know it while exercising am having chest pain or back pain even when I wear sports bra. Dunno what to do anymore. And I know I can't afford to be slim because of the load I carry on my chest else I look in proportionate I only want to lose the weight on my arms (Christian mother) and belly fat and I will be ok. Pls I need your advice on the kind of exercise to do. Thanks. I love your blog you are amazing. The fact that you take time to reply each and every comment is just superb!

    1. Hi Gift. Thanks so much, I'm humbled. You really cant isolate a part of the body to lose weight. You should aim for general weight loss with more emphasis on the upper arms when u workout. Get dumbbells they will help you a great deal. If at the gym, use the eliptical. As per your boobs, try workouts like walking, leg raises, arm lifts, squats. They will cause minimal impact on your boobs. Then ur tummy, you should mind what you eat. Cut off carbs and junk and sugar thats ur number 1 enemy. Squats should help you with your tummy too. Try these and lets know how it goes. All the best.

  12. I just got to know about your blog and I must confess it is really encouraging. My weight is really disturbing me and I have been doing all I can to come down. My biggest interest is this 8weeks challenge...I will follow it judiciously becos I weigh between 73kg and 75kg. My target is 65kg... But I do not have any scale around me... So I am already disqualified for the challenge.
