Winner!!! June (shape up) Challenge.

I didn't post a winner for the challenge yesterday because no one sent in their final (results) pictures. More than 10 people entered for the challenge, but for reasons best known to them, no one sent in their results. Some people told me they had some personal issues, some said they fell off the wagon. Well, all i can say is no matter what the issue is, you got to pick yourself up and keep moving. Anyway, Last night, i got a mail from Pat who lives outside the country, she sent in her pics and current weight. I guess its my fault, i didn't consider the time difference in some countries. Anyway Pat is the winner of the June weight loss challenge and she has won for herself:

  • A 4 week Meal plan for Fat burn.(Personalized for her alone)
  • A workout DVD.
  • A sports bra
  • A skipping rope
This was the initial pics she sent to me on the 1st of June

She lost about 7 pounds which is like 3.5 kg. She was a bit upset that she didn't lose as much as she expected, but i say, no way!! Babe you did really well. The differences in your pictures are really clear. for us to be able to see the difference, is a big achievement. Plus, you feel better about yourself, that's what matters. Here's what she said to me last night:

So sorry. Once again I was working with my time instead of naija time, and telling myself I had till 9pm to send in pics. I almost didn't send in my pics, because I was disappointed with my numbers. But after reading this post I was encouraged again. So thanks a bunch. I lost almost 7 pounds, which is a great achievement considering every time I get the courage to check my weight I'm always gaining. However this time I lost some weight. So I'm encouraged to stay on track.Even though the number seemed small and I have a long way to go, I lost a lot of inches, because all my tight clothes are now loose. I give God the Glory. I cut back on my carbs, and I could see a significant difference in my belly, and I no longer have that bloated feeling. I've curbed my cravings for sweets, and now crave water. My bad habits are skipping breakfast and portion control, but since am a work in progress, I'm working on it. Thank you so much for the challenge and encouraging posts. God bless you. Notice the difference on the scale? She weighed about 208 pounds before and 200 pounds after. Great job Pat!! 

I congratulate you Pat and i am proud of you, i trust you will keep it up till you get to your desired weight. You look smashing already. Your figure '8' no be hia o! Lol. Big hug sweet.

Guys, do you see the big difference in her weight loss? I really pray that someone gets inspired by her progress, because, she did well. This is just a month o, imagine if she keeps this up for 6 months? The results will be awesome! She will look much younger, her skin will glow, she will be a better person all round. Don't Let excuses keep you from getting better, do what you need to do today, take back your life and make it better. Best of luck sweets.

And you had from saturday to monday monday morning to send, I think I've been very fair. All your hard work isnt wasted, you lost 5kg for you. You did it for you and not for me.     1. MissB i just love your spirit. Its people like you i love to work with. You need that kind of mind set to reach your goals. Keep it up dear. Am thinking we should do another challenge in August, i want it to be bigger and better with more gifts etc, i have some ideas in mind. The winner takes it all. By the grace of God we will do it. But that shouldn't stop you from pushing harder, the more you push, the faster you'll reach your goal. Thanks sis.

  3. Cheliz dear,I over fell off the wagon no be small. I cheated too much though I lost some weight(about 2kg) but I'd really like to start mine all over this july. I just need to be more disciplined 'daz' all. Keep up the good work dear. Fina

    1. Hew! Fina where have you been nne? You abandoned us, bet why? See why i asked that people shouldn't check their weight too early. Or was that not you? Anyways, i like how you've made your mistakes and ur willing to make amends. Don't beat yourself on it, just be very ready this time like you said, you need to be more disciplined.   4. June has been my best month ever as far as my weight loss struggle is concerned. I am not an 'official' participant of the June challenge but cos I didnt send data nd all dat but the challenge really helped me. Not only did I lose 2 kg ( this is huge for me cos I used to go for months without losing a pound talk more of kg) I learnt to control wat goes into my mouth nd can now forgo certain foods in order to achieve weight loss. I am now more focused nd determined. Nne, this challenge has been a win- win for me all d way.

  7. hmmmm, I am really down, anytime I make the decision to work on myself it gets even worse. august is my birthday, I really wanna look good and trim for my day. but I cant just stop eating. I am currently uk 14 I wanna go down to 10 cos when I start giving birth. Cheliz help this sad lady.

No offence, but Its always best to eliminate every form of negativity from our lives so we can reach out for the best. Back to the weight loss, my dear its all in the mind, try and condition your mind to recognise what you need to do, for your health, for your hapiness you have to lose weight right? Also pray about it. Believe it or not, prayers can help you make up your mind to start and reach your goals in weight loss. Congrats pat, thanks to cheliz darling. i lost 2kg from 79kg to 77kg, i kno its small but to me its huge, and am not stopping here i must get to 73kg by force, am happy i now have control of what i eat, i exercise too. my tummy still does not want to come down oo after all my portion control and abdominal exercises i seriously need your help. do you think drinking 3 to 4 liters of water a day could be contributing to my big tummy? i remain grateful for your positive impact in my life.     1. Thanks Sweetpie, means you got 4kgs to go. You can reach that in maximum of two months and minimum of 2 wks, depending on how hard you work. On the tummy issue, have you done a detox? If so, did you do it well? If not the bulging tummy will be hard to blast. Crunches will only do 20% of the work for you. Thanks for all the compliments.   9. Sorry Pat and Fina, just reading your comments. We are actually on our own this July. Cheliz has promised there will be August challenge. So let's just keep going so we won't gain all what we have lost in June before Aug. Cos I don't want to start from the scratch anymore. @Pat I have my meal plan too, so am still very much in this weight loss business. MissB
