# challenge # day 4

Day 4 of the 'shape-up' weight loss challenge.

What a rainy morning, i enjoyed sweating it out this morning as it rained. I dont joke with my morning workouts, it generally defines my day. The better the workout, the less stress i have during the day. Do you experience that too?

How do feel today, i am sure some people would have dropped at least 2kg by now (please don't check). Some are already having loose pants lol! Keep it up guys, there's more to come. You will be amazed at what you can achieve. I believe so much that the human body is capable of many things. I personally love to push till i reach the point of 'failure' till i can push no more. And guess what? I surpass that failure every time. Push yourself till you get to the edge. The next day try and drive that old 'edge' to a new 'edge'. You can do it.

Tips for today:

  1. Do you have a meal plan? If not make one now. Its easy to fail without one. You need to be sure of your meals days before hand. You should know what you will have this time next week. It will keep you ahead of the game. You don't want to be caught in the evening trying to make your meal and you find out you don't have greens or pepper and crayfish like my friend 'Ify'. Hmmm, not a funny sometin o. Plan ooo!!  If you need a meal plan, please contact me. (its not free sha, but guaranteed to work) Lol!
  2. Keep drinking your water, at least 3 liters a day or 8 to 10 glasses.
  3. If you have cheated already, make up for it the next day. Add and extra 30 mins of workout or eat more veggies, but don't starve.
Exercise for today:
  1. Warm up: Stretch for 3 mins
  2. 1000 skips (rest when you can, but not for too long) (do them in sets of 50)
  3. Cool down stretch for 2 mins.

What challenges are you facing? Please share. Remember not to weigh yourselves till the very last day of this challenge. This is to avoid you falling off the wagon. The journey is still on, no relaxing, no looking back, no slacking and no excuses! Shine on guys! God bless.
Cheliz.

  1. I ache all over, twenty minutes into the exercise and I can't do anymore, then I try to make up for it at night, then I'm tired again and over sleep, wake up by 10am and the pain won't let me do much exercise ..chie. Can I take pain killers daily to help with these aches? The good thing is I've not been very hungry of late and get full easily on just one wrap of moi moi. Kate

    1. Awww Kate sorry o. Don't take pain killers, the pain will quietly subside. Your body needs to burn out the fat, dont stop the process with pain killers. Keep goin and rest when you can during your workouts. Am sure ur sleeping well for the first time in a long time right? Take care.

  5. My challenge is exercise. I have plantar fasciitis, so my exercises are limited. Before the challenge I had not exercised in a long time, so my body is out of wack. Each day I dread the exercise, during workouts, I almost want to cry, but at the end, I'm grateful to God that I did it. I hope it gets easier.

    1. Hi Pat. Sorry to hear that. But am happy you are making an effort still. When trying to lose weight, I always tell pple to eat right first. Exercise comes second. Avoid jump exercises for now. Try and walk for 30mins to 1hr. Do it daily, it works. Your heel will get better with proper care and maybe weight loss. All the best dear.
