Day 24 of the 'shape-up' weight loss challenge.

Good morning Sweets, Hope you had a nice night.
Its Day 24 of our weight loss challenge (shape up) We have 4 more days to go yipeee!! I wish it was longer so that we can see greater results. Maybe next time we will make it an 8-week challenge. What do you think??

Hmmmm, so how far guys, is the skinny jeans entering small small? Lol. How much difference are you seeing? If you aren't seeing any difference yet, please don't be too hard on yourself, it takes longer for some people to see a significant change when trying to lose weight. Rather, you should be FEELING a huge difference in you: Ask yourself....
  1. Do you sleep more/well?
  2. Do you feel lighter?
  3. Do you feel more alive?
  4. Has your sex drive improved? (for married pple o, if you are single, biko i didn't send you message!!) Lol
  5. Is your skin glowing? Check your face too.
  6. Do you now move your bowel regularly, unlike those days when you were always constipated?
  7. Do your old clothes feel loose yet?
  8. Is your brain more alert and active now?
  9. How is your mood? Any more mood swings?
  10. Do you crave sweets as much as before?

These questions should help you come to terms with your progress, so its not all about looking skinny, its a total change...Body and soul redefining....that's what we are aiming for. Everything about you needs to be touched in one way or the other so that when people see and talk to you, they know that you really mean bizniz LOL!! Hard work pays BIG time sweets.

Remember i said i would do 300 push ups this week? well i've only been able to do 90, and its Wednesday already. Choi!! I have not had the time to really do so much that's why, but, i will make up for the lost times this evening. By the way, i do other exercises with it, not just the push ups though. This turkey-wing of a kini has to reduce biko. Its annoying :(  Whose in on this with me, how are you coping?

Have you been eating your fruits and veggies? Have you been exercising? Water??  Please don't forget these. No more excuses....#fatmustdie Please share your experiences and updates, so that others can benefit. Thanks and God bless.

    I feel better, lighter, skin glowing(been eating carrots everyday) uhmmm, I need to slim fit my shirts and trousers fits better, no bulging stomach. In all, I feel good. Thanks Babes

    1. Choi! I onow that monster o. Lol. You need to reduce carbs and the do a lot leg raises lower body exercises. It will flatten with time. Strength training helps too. Thanks.

  5. Ha Cheliz, only 90? Ah, u dey slack o. Been 'rocking ' my push ups like no tomorrow. Hahaha. Its bn fifty very morning since yesterday plus fifty burpees nd other sundry workouts. I hav not seen much difference per say but I hav seen a lot of difference in my attitude towards weight loss. That ' I can do ' attitude is my biggest achievement right now. I am very sure of going a week or two or evn more without eating dos stuffs dat ll only end up stuffing me up, I have dat attitude of being accountable to my myself in all honesty abt everything I put into my mouth. I am no longer out of control wen I see dos sweet evils. Infact so much difference, too numerous to mention nd d best of all, dat overwhelming confidence dat if by d time I get on my scale, nd don't see any difference in numbers, dat I won't get discouraged but will rather push harder till I achieve what I want to achieve cos it's not just abt dis month. Its about a lifetime. NNENNA

Hi cheliz darling, thank you for all your motivational write ups, its time for me to confess, am on this challenge even though i couldn't send my picture and weight as you said. am always on this blog reading your post and peoples comments even when you were like some people on this challenge didn't want to say anything all this while i just laughed and said to my self " people like me", am really enjoying this, i have control of the things i eat now, finding my self exercising morning before going to work and evening before going to bed this is serious and each day that i didn't get to exercise i feel soo guilty and will try and make it up the next day. i didn't really eat more veggies because of time but will adjust on that, i had only one eating routing in the morning when i woke up i have my green tea and lemon and do my morning exercise ( 600 skips, 60 squats,200 dombell lifts, 20 push up, 40 lunge and 60 leg raises and 50 air byke and stretch very well) after that i drink cold water. around 9.30 am i have watermelon and pineapple after 45 minuets i take my fruit and fiber cornflakes, 2 table spoon skim milk, dried fruits followed by another green tea, 1 cucumber,4 apple and 4 pieces of garden egg for lunch followed by twinnings drink then for dinner a hand full of cashew nut and water sometimes yogurt anyone that is available and i will repeat exactly the exercise i did in the morning at night sometimes will even increase the counts followed by another green tea with lemon and i didn't forget to always drink water infact i think drinking water was my biggest achievement because i don't drink water before but now i drink 3 to 4 liters every day, i pee like a pregnant woman and am really enjoying it i have never felt this bowl movement in my life. sometimes i squat in the rest room, then Saturdays i go for a long walk in which i jog too. am always on Google reading about weight loss and exercises. my tummy, my thigh and my arm are my biggest challenges i know with time i will definitely see result, i never felt weak for one day, if i didn't exercise its just my laziness not because am weak and am surprised. to me this will not stop here oo its a total life change. this is my story cheliz darling looking forwards for your advice. thanks soo much for making this positive impact in our lives. When you exercise at night, make sure you dont sleep hungry k. I pray for God to give you more energy to keep you going and dont look back.     1. Hey Glow. This babe always cracks me up. Don't worry dear, I'm sure we will meet real soon. Thanks a bunch my sweet. If you want to burn ur thighs fast, I would suggest squats, running or jogging on threadmil for at least 30 mins daily. also kick boxing, skipping for 45 to 60mins 3 times a week. Also long walks help at least 5miles a day. And of cus watching what u eat. With time they will reduce. Take care babe.
