Today i want to share my cocoa milk shake. Its very easy to make. Very healthy, loaded with vitamins and nutrients. You can have it as a starter (breakfast) for your day, hot or cold. A great dinner idea too.
Ingredients: This will make a rich and thick shake.
- 1tbsp of unsweetened Cocoa powder- 12 calories
- 1 cup low fat milk - 96 calories
- 1 small very ripe Banana- 50 calories
- 1 tbsp of Honey- 64 calories
- 1/2 tsp of ground Cinnamon- 3 calories
- 1 tbsp of peanut butter- 94 calories
- Just toss everything into the blender or smoothie maker and blitz for about 2 mins till the banana is well blended. Pour in your glass and drink.
- If you like it hot, then heat the milk for a little while before blending.
This would make a lighter version.
The ingredients above will make a very rich cup of shake, but if you like it mild, reduce the portions and then add ice cubes. A lighter version is about 293 calories. Kids would love it too!

Unsweetened cocoa powder. What brand do u use
ReplyDeleteZinny zinny. The brand I use is in a tin and costs about N600. There are many other good brands out there. Check the beverage section of any supermarket.
