How much did you gain?

I like to be very realistic with myself and to those around me, to me that is the only way i get results. Before Christmas, i told myself that i will free myself to have fun during the festive period, i still had my limits but i opened a few windows....... if you know what i mean. Lol. Christmas is my favorite time of the year, i had to enjoy it, coupled with the fact that it was my baby's birthday. I knew i would gain weight afterwards. hehe.

A friend of mine showed me this pic. Hilarious! (but true)

A week later, i gained 2kg and i'm back to 79kgs. Its not bad though, but i want to maintain a 77kg. I am being realistic to myself so as to avoid the shock of seeing the extra kgs on the scale. Its allowed to gain a bit of weight during festive periods, its what you do about it later that counts. what about you how much have you gained and what have you decided to do about it this year?

I reverted back to my clean foods yesterday, no more junk, fried things or sweet things either. My first tip this year for those that 'really' want to lose some weight would be that you get a book and
1. Write down all the bad foods you know you eat (you know now, all the coke, cake, meat pie and co), and cross them out one by one.  Not that you wont eat them anymore, but for now, lets just find our bearing before we revisit them ok.
2. I identify how much you need to lose and write it down as your goal.

For me, weight loss isn't just about exercising till you break waist, its about eating right, feeding your body what it needs to build muscles and stay healthy. Exercise is secondary (but very necessary) when it comes to weight loss.   Don't be scared, its all for the better. by the end of this year, you will be a better and happier person trust me (it has taken me 11 months to get where i am today). It wont be so easy, but its very doable, one step at a time.

Let me just share some before and after pics of mine to ginger you small. Lol.........

                                              Before before... @ 108kg and @ 95kg

@ 78kg on my birthday in November 2013.

                                                  @ 77kg some days before Xmas 2013.

This is just to motivate you guys a bit, hope it worked. How have you guys been please holla back. xo.
God bless,
Cheliz.

    1. Hi dear, since you are on exclusive, I will only advise that u reduce your daily calorie intake by 500 so u can lose weight. E.g if ur daily intake is currently up to 3000 calories, try and make it 2500, then gradually reduce it till u stop breast feeding. Also, take more fluid-like meals eg pepper soups with fish or chicken, add veggies like scent leaves and spinach to it, eat high fibre like potatoes, yams, wheat in little quantities at a time. Eat up to 6 small meals a day with at least 4 litres of water a day since you are breastfeeding. Water should be your best friend. Please stay away from sugary and fizzy drinks, dont even dare. They are bad for you and baby. Limit your rice to 2 times a week and make it brown rice. If this is not clear enough, kindly email me for more info. Thanks.
