Its only a matter of time.

Hi sweets, hope your week has been awesome? Mine was great, i mean i have no reason  to regret as long as i am alive today. Though It was a slow week for me as regards my workouts, because these days i just wake up and i don't really feel like sweating or doing anything serious, i just felt like staying in bed with a hot cup of milo and a good book. For most part of this week, i practically dragged myself to my workout spot in the house and did like 15mins of strength training each time, then collapsed back into the couch. So today i told myself that i wont let that happen again, and so i really really worked it. You know one good thing about exercise is that after the first 15mins, the body starts releasing 'endorphins' that make you feel good and feel like yes! I can do more! Kai! i love that feeling.
This is me early last year. I've always been a 'big' girl.

My point here is that there will be days when you feel like "whats the point" or "why do i even bother when i don't see results" or "i feel soo tired" etc Please don't stop, keep pushing, keep digging. its only a matter of time and results will start to show and people will start complimenting you on your new shape, and your health most importantly will improve. It may take weeks but results will show. It took me the the first 12kg before anybody even noticed i was loosing weight, yes that much. Now 28kgs later i give Glory to God. You too can do it. I promise you hard work pays. Its difficult for me too, but i keep pushing. Get the motivation you need and wrap it around your waist. Do you remember what i looked like in the beginning?(9 months ago) see pics below......
This was in February this year. Dress size;US 20 and 109kg

Sometime last month.

This was just last Saturday. Dress Size; US8 and 28kgs lighter.
Its not been easy at all i must confess, but the results later are really comforting. Just keep doing the right thing, eat right, exercise, results WILL show, its only a matter of time. Thumbs up to you guys on my diet plans Helen...*wink* keep it up and please lets know how far. The lord is your strength. God bless you.

    1. Hi Yinka. Welcome aboard! Its true some people don't see results immediately, don't let it discourage you. Be sure of what you are eating, your timing, your portions and how often you eat. Then, do the right exercises, surely the fat will melt away. Take it one day at a time and be strong. Cheers.

  6. Just read this now and I'm so inspired. I had my babies early this year and just blew up. Everyone says if I stop breastfeeding, I'll reduce. I don't believe them, in so tired most times, I walk funny and feel ashamed when leaving the house. I probably weigh about 110 now and I'm not tall. I'm starting right now with the staircase, hopefully in 5weeks, I should get an obvious result. Thanks a million dear

    1. Hi, they are right in a way because when you stop breast feeding, you don't crave as much as you used to and your body stops producing milk which used to make you look a bit bloated and roundish because of water retention. Staircase is good, but try and increase the ntensity with time, don't do stair case for 5 weeks o. Then watch what you eat and your portions too. Thanks and take care.
