Slowly but surely.


So it's been 33 weeks so far through my weight loss journey, It's been very hard. Very very very hard. Hmmmm I give all glory to God almighty for seeing me through, for strength and for grace.  Its good we share our progress with our team mates, gym bodies etc because it's a source of motivation, weather you lost any weight or not, and it helps you identify your weaknesses, find a solution and move ahead. 

People have different opinions about when to weigh in, but I like to check mine every 2 or 3 days or at the most, every week. It helps me keep tabs on myself and I know when to put in more effort in my workouts. So, I opened this month (September) at 83.7kg, two weeks ago I weighed 82.7kg, i lost 1.5kg and weighed 81.2kg  as at last monday, i checked today and i added 0.2kg. I weigh 81.4kg today. I have lost a total of 2.3kg this month and a total of 28.5kg since I started this journey, to God be the glory.
This is me today at 81.4kg.

 There are times when you won't see a difference on the scale, Sometimes people will try to drag you back or make you cheat on your meals. Don't let that stop you, keep moving, keep digging. Remember the story of 'the tortoise and the hare'.....Slow and steady wins the race. Lets Master a healthy lifestyle and there's no going back. Take care and God bless.

  1. Weldone Chilez. Its inspirin followin ur blog. Knowin dat if one is determined, one can actualy reach d promised land lol. God knws i 'm so not givin up evn doh 'my platue' is pushin me to d brink but i ll kip kipin up cos weda dis fat lyks it or not, i must conquer. Give up? Hell no!

    1. Tems tems! Thanks a lot dear. U inspire me to keep working harder, cus its difficult for me sometimes to even wake up and workout, I have to gather my energy from all angles. So it people like you that give me strength. SIn foods are not the problem, the problem is you not doing anything about it. So anytime you indulge, just remind yourself that u MUST burn it off.
